Dear Younger Me,

People are always going to tell you what to do and who to be. Some of them absolutely mean well. Others just like to hear themselves talk.

As long as you feel confident about your seeking God’s will, you need not doubt yourself.

God’s will has rarely ever been very clear in my life, but I always seek it. Pray for it, surrender it all, and listen. If you do that, you may not get a clear answer, but you do not need to let others’ ideas of your life cloud your judgement or worry you.

Focus on His voice, even if it’s silent.
