Discovering joy in the hard places

When you ask for Prayer

I wish I could give you my heart

for the journey you are on

when you share your pain with me

I truly take it on

your not some words I hear

or another thing to check off

I am aching in my heart

and pleading to our God

This is what I hope you know

every moment of this path

I am with you in the steps

though I am just a human

so my desire to be near

is a prayer that the Spirit

will minister to you in every way

and a trusting on my part

that you are best in God’s hands

and on His path
