Don’t compare
your courage
to others
Some may roar like lions
literally a tidal wave
as they move forward
with strength and vibrato
Others are quiet
in their strength
their courage
looks like
getting out of bed
each day
Don’t judge your courage
by the standards of this world
You know in your heart
the step of courage
you took today
and I’m telling you
