Joyful Ruins

Discovering joy in the hard places

Your Worth is LOUD

Tell me your story

Have you been heard?

Sing to me the notes

that have been hidden

and silenced

Every word you say

matters

Let me heal you

in this way

Be the presence of safety

and compassion you need

Let me be a witness

to your pain

your most mundane thoughts

I want to welcome you

all of you

I do not want to change you

Let me be the one

who tells you

And most of all

SHOWS you

not one part of you

is unloved

Your worth is never silent

to my ears

or blinded

in my eyes

Your worth shouts to my heart

so much so

My bones ache

my skin is set ablaze

To the point

I want to scream for you

I want to scream for you

To shout every day

your worth

to you

I want to look into your eyes

and speak

your worth

To them I want to

scream into their face

your worth

Your worth is not quiet

in my ears

Your worth is the loudest sound

in the world
