I traded
mountains and rivers
Great Yellowstone
and the
beautiful Rocky Mountains
for you
And I don’t regret it for a second
because
nothing compares to the way
you look at me
and the things we share
Mountains do no justice
to your kindness and care
Rivers, sure, can teach me about
all the ways of life
but they can’t make me feel
the kind of peace
I feel
when you’re around

I see the world through stories and insights. I have always been a sensitive soul, especially towards nature, people, art, and faith.
